On the topic of the RF gnessus. I think commander aze would be a better advocate for War decs.

First, a disclaimer: I’ve listened to all these shows and you guys are doing great work. But I have to chime in when I hear people utterly misrepresenting what is being said.

Case in point: RF Gnaeuss AT NO POINT says ganking is illegitimate. In fact, he says exactly the opposite. People trying to pigeonhole him into one of the anti-ganking miners are doing the community a disservice. What he said was it would be nice if there was something for the freighter pilot to DO, hence his reference to PVE.

Sorry for the rant, but whoever it was misrepresented him, you should have stuck to “not being negative” and instead listened to him again.

Other than that, stellar work guys, and thanks.

For the record, the quote was “sitting around in comms with 20 people waiting to gank someone isn’t legitimate.” I can give you a timestamp.

Relistened to his comments at 15:00. Actually the term used was “should not be interesting gameplay”. I know many high sec wardeccers and gankers who would vehemently disagree that hunting freighters isn’t interesting. It’s a legitimate style of gameplay even though he can’t see it
I agree that contracts and trading need work. But his comparisons to shooting someone afk and de-legitimising someone actively playing because he’s autopiloting was just too much for me. Apologies for the confusion.

        Hi all

As said, I am NOT against ganking. I say it is more like pve, because when on AP the ship is flown by, well AI. And I see that people find it interesting to shoot empty freighters. But imho opinion its like a low level mission. I don t think people should not do them, but that it would be nice if there is content better to go for 🙂 But it is a style of play and I think we need all kind of styles to make eve interesting and jeep it so.

        Love you all,

        Gn
